I'm amazed at h ow often I've been able to recreate this card design over the years! I've been a demonstrator for over 30 years, first with CTMH and now with SU. This was the first card design I was taught when I joined CTMH! The stamp images have shifted and changed a bit over the years, but the designs always worked out well.
Start by tearing a piece of scrap paper with the slope of a hill. This becomes the mask to stamp the trees along the top of the card.
The large tree and small trees along the hill are from the same stamp! The tiny trees are just the top part of the larger tree. First I stamped the large tree in the lower left. This helped me know where to start stamping the tiny trees. Ink the tip of the stamp and stamp along the mask, moving as needed to create the slope.
Once finished with the trees I added the sentiment in a contrasting color along with some small snowflakes. Clear Wink of Stella was used to create a sparkly snow effect along the slope and under the large tree. A couple of sequins was the finishing touch.
The inside carries the theme with the tree and snowflakes and a sweet message.
What do you think? Is this a design you'd try?
