Painterly Pear Card

Here is s sweet look for you to re-create. It's simple but has a lot of detail for your eyes to roam over.

Using paper from the Painter Pear Suite pick out 3 different patters, cut them to about 5-1/2" x 3/4". Tear about a 1/2" off each end. Place them in the middle of the card front making sure the ends are uneven.

Use a circle die of some kind. I used the Spotlight on Nature dies. Die cut a circle in a coordinating color to back the focal image. Pop it up on Stampin' Dimensional foam.

For the pear I wanted both a yellow and green look to it. I first inked in Darling Duckling then rolled the edge on the Old Olive ink pad. Finally, I stamped the image. This is called Stamp Rolling or Rock and Roll. I adhered the die cut pear to the circle and added a die cut stem at the top.

As an accent I used the Metallic Textured Rub-Ons to add some interest. All you have to do is cut out the section you want to use, peel off the backing and place it where you want the design. For my card I just tucked it under the circle a bit. Once in place rub all over the design a few time with your fingers, bone folder or a flat object. Gently peel off the paper to see your pretty design!

Painterly Pear Card ~ Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 641

Hello! If you're like me, sometimes you need a bit of help to get started on a project. A sketch can be that one thing that sets your creativity into moving forward. Our team at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge has a great sketch for you each week. The sketch goes live on Monday and our blog opens on Wednesday for entries.

We'd love to see your take on our sketch. You can manipulate it any way you like. We just need to be able to see the sketch in your project.

I've been creating with the Painterly Pears lately so all the pieces were right there on my craft table ready to go. It was quick and easy and I love the end result.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

This is a picture of all that comes in the Painterly Pears Suite. Stamp set, dies, 12"x12" pattern paper, gems and ribbon all coordinated to work together making it easy to create projects.

Also available in a Bundle or individually

This is a roll of our Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape. It's 3" wide and 10 yards long! There are two color sections that repeat through the length of the roll. Put the tape on white cardstock as I did here or on other surfaces (vellum, pastel CS, etc). The super easy way to die cut the florals is with the coordinating die that comes in the bundle (seen below).

Look at this matching stamp set and die! The die cuts ALL the flowers at the same time!!! Use it on stamped images OR with the Washi Tape.

More Pears.....

Are you ready for another idea using the Painterly Pears Suite? You've come to the right place! I love th bold look and how the pattern paper stands out against the solid cardstock. Not all the patterns in this pack are so bold. There are softer looks to be had too. Take a look online for all the patterns in the pack.

This time I paired the Suite with one of my favorite dies.....the Everyday Arches. I think the arches can make anything look even better! By layering different sizes of the arches it really draws in your eyes to the fabulous pattern paper. When cutting I chose to get a nice part of the paper to show in the arch.

Keeping the rest of the design simple, I popped up the dark layer with foam, wrapped a ribbon and added some gems. That's all it needed!

Look at all the wonderful products you get in this Suite! Stamp set, Paper, Dies, Sparkle Gems and ribbon. They are all coordinated to work together which makes crafting easy. Getting the Suite gives you a 10% discount on the price, too.

Pear Card Idea

Hello!  I'm excited to share some ideas using the Painterly Pears Suite. When buying a Suite you get a 10% discount on the products. The items are also available individually if you prefer or need to replace some of the consumable items.

This is a bold look and a bit outside my comfort zone. But it's good to stretch a bit at times. You never know what will happen!

This super simple card is so quick and easy to make. I left off a sentiment on the front as it just didn't need to be there. Some cards are just like that. use the inside for your sentiment and wishes.

I took one of the more bold patterns of paper and trimmed it down. The cardstock layer colors are taken from the colors in the paper. The center portion is popped up on foam and the corner wrapped with some ribbon. I use Glue Dots on ribbon as it holds better and faster than other adhesives. I added a few of the Sparkle Dots in yellow to make a nice compliment of colors.

That's it! You now have a card ready for a sentiments!
