Cracked Glass

C1397 Smiles

The images in this whimsical stamp set DO make me smile. There are a variety of pretty flower heads and stems for creating a beautiful garden or showing off single flowers.
In this card I've also used the Cracked Glass Technique. The single flower layer in the upper left of the card has been created by stamping the flower and then clear embossing with a total of 6 layers. Once the embossing is finished put the piece in your freezer for 15 min. or so. When you take it out of the freezer gently bend it to crack the embossing! You can crack it once or several times. Another option is to use a sponge to rub some chocolate ink over it. The ink will catch in the cracks and give it an antique look.
Colors used:
Colonial White card base
Olive, Sorbet and Creme Brule
