APRIL Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the APRIL Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!
If you arrived here from Danielle Chapman's blog you're hopping down the right path! If you'd like to start from the beginning of the hop click here. Otherwise you can keep going because the hop forms a loop so you'll get to see it all.

D1409 Flower Pot is our April Stamp of the Month. Isn't it adorable! There are 16 images for creating all kinds of looks in your cards, layouts and paper crafting projects.
But don't forget....this set is only available April 1-30!

Can't you just smell the flowers! I just love these colors together and the bright spring-like feeling it creates. Markers were used to color the flowers and flower pot. A second layer of marker color was added to create shadows.
Here's what was used to make the card:
D1409 Flower Pot
D1412 Noted Backgrounds
White Daisy cardstock card base
Colors...Sweet Leaf, Pansy Purple, Blush, White Daisy
paper punch
Spellbinders Long Rectangle

Here's some more cards using the
Morphed Spotlight technique in a variety of looks.

I kept the format the same but varied the papers and colors. What a difference small changes can make! On all three cards I used our Watercolor Pencils to color the flowers in the middle box. The outside boxes are left uncolored. All of the center panels have 3D Foam to lift them up a bit.

Left card: papers are from the Sarsparilla kit along with Colonial White, Twilight and Black. I also used Barn Red ink to distress the edges of the card. The images are stamped in Black ink. There is a dot of Liquid Glass in the corners of each panel and on the centers of the colored in flowers.

Middle card: papers are from the Bella kit on a Colonial White card base. Images are stamped in Cocoa.

Right card: Daydream paper on a White Daisy card base. Images are stamped in Black with Spring Iris ink distressing the card edges.

Thanks for hopping by. For more great ideas hop on over to Krista Ritske's blog.

Happy Hopping!
