ColorDare #41 - Chose a your own color with Cocoa & Saddle

Time for another Color Dare
This time the colors are Cocoa, Saddle and a color of your choice!
Mine is Sweet Leaf!

I love the Pun Fun stamp set and it's always good to have a cute belated birthday card at hand! I covered the turtle shell (except for the green dots) in Bronze Glitz Glitter Gel. I also used Green Glitter Gel to make the pom pom on the hat. The frayed ends on the burlap add a nice texture, don't you think? I colored the green of the turtle with our Exclusive Inks markers (alcohol base). A couple of Durable Studs for accent on the
 Chantilly paper finish the look!

C1505 Pun Fun stamp set
Chantilly paper
Cardstock--Colonial White, Cocoa, Saddle
Ink--Cocoa
Exclusive Inks Markers--Sweet Leaf
Glitz Glitter Gel--Bronze, Green
Durable Studs
Burlap Ribbon
Glue Dots

Other than some drying time for the Glitter Gel,
this was a quick and easy card!

  1. Lots of great details on this card! I really like the double matting with the challenge colours; The frayed burlap looks wonderful set on the Chantilly--it didn't strike me before now that the pattern of that paper looks woven, too. Your turtle is just plain cute! Good job on the colouring. Thanks for taking this week's Color My Heart dare!
