Never Stop Dreaming!

The Color My Heart color dare this week is to use Indian Corn Blue and Buttercup. Neutral colors are always an option. Come on....join us in a color dare! Full details available here.

I just got this new stamp set and decided it would be perfect for this color dare. I also used a pattern from the Lollydoodle Workshop on the Go. It's the "Hello" card and can be seen on page 75 of our Idea Book.

This is a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" top fold card. I dry embossed the top section for some texture. Before embossing I swiped the ink pad across the embossing folder so the background would be inked. I love this technique! The blue cardstock has been sanded to expose a bit of the white core of the paper.  Yet another technique I used was to swipe the Buttercup ink across the two stamped layers. I didn't completely cover the layer and let some of the white come through. A touch of bling in the form of glitter paper and sparkles finished the look!
