Guess what day it is? It's FRIDAY and time for a new color dare from the team at Color My Heart! This week the dare is to use Cotton Candy and Sweet Leaf with White Daisy.
I went for a soft look to accent my photos so I used a waterbrush to apply the color to the flowers and leaves. I was thinking of doing a circle of flowers around the photo on the left so I laid it all out without gluing it down. When I had it the way I wanted I moved the photo to glue the layers together and some of them moved creating the dip of a heart. Viola! A new design formed and I love it much better than the first idea! Just goes to show that keeping an open mind while crafting can bring even better results! There was a lot of fussy cutting but it actually went faster than I thought it would.
