Color Dare #254 ~ Blossom, Emerald, Lemon, Poppy, Sapphire, Sea Glass, Sorbet, Tangerine, White

You know what day it is? It's FRIDAY and that means a new color dare challenge from the Design Team at Color My Heart! This week we're inspiring you to use colors from the Prickly Pear palette. It's a lot of colors but don't worry you only need to use at least 4 of them.

This paper and the "go with" stamp sets are SO cute and fun to create with! The fun part about this set is that it has matching Thin Cuts and you know what that means....no fussy cutting!

This card is called a Double Z Fold and it's very easy to make! No really, it is! You start with your base cut to 4 1/4" x 11". Fold it in half then fold the top layer back on itself. There you go! Now you need the narrow strip and you do the same thing. Mine is 1 1/4" x 11" but  you can make it however tall you want it to be. After you've folded the two pieces decorate your card and the strip. See, I told you it was easy! HINT: When coloring with the markers the Tender Pink was a bit too bright for the Blossom color in this palette. I colored on top of the Tender Pink with Lt. Orange and it's a much better match!

All products are Close To My Heart:
  • Prickly Pear paper and sequins
  • Stamp Sets: Prickly Pear Cardmaking, This & That
  • Cardstock: White Daisy, Sapphire
  • Exclusive Inks: Slate
  • ShinHan Markers: Carmine, Vivid Green, Golden Yellow, Tender Pink, Lt. Orange, Marigold
If you need a consultant I'd be happy to help.
If you'd like to BE a consultant I can help with that, too!

Ok, have I inspired you to create something to share using this color palette? Remember, you only need to use at least 4 of the colors. Check out the details on how to share in the post on our home page. Click on "Current Challenge" and it will take you directly to the post! Can't wait to see what you create!

Happy Creating!
Michelle
