Black and White are free colors
Open through June 14thEach Friday the Design Team at Color My Heart challenges you with a Close To My Heart color palette. You can create any paper craft you like and share it on our home page. If you don't have an exact CTMH color you may substitute something close so you can still join the fun. BUT, don't add any brand new colors to the palette.
I don't create with browns very often but I really like the color Nutmeg and it goes so well with Glacier and New England Ivy. The background on the sentiment layer is actually a Picture My Life (PML) card from the Fresh Air paper packet. These cards are great for pocket scrapbooking but come in really handy for other uses, too. This was a quick and easy card to make. The sentiment was cut with Thin Cuts and the sparkles were colored with a ShinHan marker.

I thought this would be a difficult color challenge, but you didn't seem to have any problem and love that you used the PML card for your sentiment focal. These colors and how you have combined can be masculine and feminine.
ReplyDeleteI love how you used the PML card to work for your card. I rarely think to cover up what you don't want to use. Great card!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your card.
