Highlight the Details - CTMH Technique Blog Hop

I saw a card by Melissa Mills Johnson and was inspired to make a version of my own. I heat embossed using Silver Tinsel powder and love the way it came out! The flower petals were colored for a tone on tone effect using  the Warm Grey WB7 ShinHan Marker. I layered with Silver Glitter paper die cut with the Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts.

It's a very simple technique and I really think you should give it a try! In fact........(scroll down)

I was so pleased with my first card I started thinking about other colors. You could say I got a little carried away but I prefer to think of it as now having a nice stash of cards for a variety of occasions!

  8. I LOVE these cards Michelle! They are just beautiful! And I have now made three since seeing them last night!! And so as not to be totally unoriginal I also made one in Hollyhock CS and Cherry Pink marker (R5) with silver trim. Thankyou for the inspiration!
