I was excited to get the new Floral Delivery stamp set all inky for this challenge. I saw a card online somewhere and this is my version. I'm sorry I don't have the name of the artist, but if you recognize the design let me know so I can give credit.
For our Color My Heart Color Dare we challenge you to use colors from our grid. In this case it's a Tic Tac Toe grid. You can pick a row, column, diagonal of colors. You can even use them all or pick and choose colors from the grid. The only thing you can't do is add new colors to the palette. We reference Close To My Heart colors but you can use any brand as long as you can make a very close match.
I love the way the flower is in a skinny column. I used ink from the lid of ink pads and a water brush to color the flowers and stem. It's easy to color the flowers because those little lines show you where the shadows need to be.
There is a dry embossed line around the flower layer. I did that with an embossing tool and my paper trimmer. Use the track to gently dry emboss with the embossing tool. The left side has a narrow piece of cardstock embossed with our Subway Tile folder. The sequins were easy to glue to the card now that we have the Fine tip Applicator!

Lovely Michelle! I like that you used the subway tile embossing folder with the flower. I love blue flowers!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cat.
ReplyDeleteI also love the use of the subway tile with the flower but my favorite is the embossing frame around the flower. What a peaceful card.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Debi.
DeleteI love how you've used the frame on this card. A beautiful card to let someone know you're thinking of them.
