It's that time of year when paper crafters start thinking about the Christmas Cards they're going to make! I'm going to start with this one today. I always love a good tree image and this one makes a really nice Christmas Tree.
The way this color challenge works is that you pick colors from our grid. We reference Close To My Heart colors but you can use whatever brand you have as long as you can make a VERY CLOSE MATCH. Also, don't add any new colors to the palette other than what is listed or we'll have to disqualify you. It makes us sad to disqualify someone to please don't make us sad. Make any paper craft you like and link to our Color My Heart Color Dare home page.
This is a two step stamp which means you get two tree images that are just a bit different than each other. When you stamp them they create a nice full and detailed look. You can also use two different colors of ink or do a 1st and 2nd generation stamping. Here I've used two inks: Sage and New England Ivy.
Next I stamped the ornaments using the stamp and roll technique. I inked the image, stamped on scrap paper then rolled the edge of the image on the ink pad. Now I have two tones of the same color when I stamp the image. I added some sequins and used some Stickles for the star.

This wasn't on my list of stamps to purchase but I love what you did with it. That tree is very realistic with the 2 stamp colours.
