Season to Sparkle Technique Hop

Let's get SPARKLY! Our December Technique Hop is all about sparkles this month. Sparkles are everywhere in December so it's a good fit, right!

The blog before mine is Katy Taylor Click the links in each post to continue on the hop to make sure you see all the fantastic ideas we're sharing!

There are many ways to include sparkle in your projects. For my cards I used some foil cardstock, heat embossing and Stickles as my main ways to sparkle. I loved the look so much I made one with warm tones and one with cool tones. Each card has a dry embossed background of snowflakes and a sprig of pine and pinecones. Then the differences set in! The ornament for each card were die cut making it very simple!

The warm card is done in red and purple with gold. The ornament was heat embossed in gold and colored with our Tri-Blend markers. The final step was to add some Stickles. The photo really doesn't do it justice.

The cool card was done in Silver with blue and green. The ornament was heat embossed in silver and Tri-Blend markers were used along with Stickles for additional sparkle.

We have this amazing die cut set that coordinates perfectly with the ornament stamp set I used. You can also make stunning ornament designs with the different dies included in the set.
