The hop is one big circle so you can hop on and off as you like but you aren't going to want to miss anything! The blog before mine belongs to Brandi Robinson. Click on the links in each post to go to the next blog in the hop.
I LOVE sunsets! No, I really LOVE sunsets! I especially love it when trees are silhouettes in the sunset. I felt the4 new Spruced Up - Scrapbooking stamp set had some great images to capture the look I wanted. I got busy making a stencil so I could create the sunset. It's a 3" square which is a good fit for a standard size card. Here is a close up of each style card I made. After you'll find steps for the sunset.
Stencil on the cardstock. The cardstock is taped to the pad so it doesn't slip around. |
Sponge the Canary ink along the bottom to start the sunset making it a bit darker in the corners. |
Next add some Nectarine ink and blend into the Canary a bit. |
Now it's time for the Sangria ink. Blend by making edges darker and bring the color down the side a bit. |
This is what it looks like when you remove the stencil! |
