Oh My Heart Birthday Layout ~ Color Dare #379

It's time for a new Color Dare Challenge and we're using a Valentine type photo to inspire you! Look at those nice and bright colors! Surely there are plenty of colors there for you to create with! Create any paper craft you like and link to our Color My Heart Color Dare home page where you'll also find all the details for joining the fun! We can't wait to see what you create!

For my layout I went with pastel shades of the colors. I used our Oh My Heart paper pack that is on Special. It's hard to photo pastel inks and colors so please know that the photo doesn't do it justice! I started with our Make It from Your Heart,  Volume 3, Pattern 5 to get me started. Once you have the colors and pattern ready the rest is easy! The stamp set is called Celebrate Today - Cardmaking but as you can tell it works great for layouts, too! It also comes with coordinating Thin Cut dies making it very easy to cut out!

I used the Wisteria Shimmer Brush on the cake frosting for some pretty sparkle. I also added some Liquid Glass to the lenses of the glasses for a more realistic look. On the frames I used the Lagoon Shimmer Brush for some sparkle there, too. And just because you can never have too much sparkle I added a few Clear Sparkle gems around the page.
