The blog before mine belongs to Haley Dyer. Just click the links in each post to go to the next blog. It's one big circle but you can also find a link to all participants here.
My cards were inspired by a bee card made by Janice Gilhooley. I loved the look and couldn't wait to give it a try. I tweaked it a bit as all crafters do and this is what I came up with. The Black with Kraft papers create a really nice contrast for the gold embossing. I embossed the image in gold embossing powder. In order to keep this contrast look going I layered the image onto a black circle and then on the scalloped circle. Click here to see a previous post where I used the dragonfly and Thin Cut with a different look!
The sentiments are from different stamp sets. The inside sentiment comes from the February Stamp of the Month: Cherishing Her. It's only available from Feb. 1-29th so keep that in mind!
