Let's have some Tic Tac Toe fun! Our Color My Heart Color Dare challenge takes the form of Tic Tac Toe for picking the colors for you to create with. Pick your colors by row, column or diagonal, then if you want to use some of the other colors in grid go for it! What you can't do is add any new colors to to the grid.
We reference Close To My Heart colors but you can use any brand you have as long as you can make a very close match. Kind of close doesn't count. Make any paper craft you like and use the link on our home page when to join the challenge.
I just love gnomes! This cute stamp set is so much fun to use and turn into a project for any occasion. I used the colors in the left column (Glacier, Silver, Avocado) + Almond. The pattern paper comes from the Comfort & Joy packet which is a Christmas theme. However, Close To My Heart always gives us some paper patterns in the packets that are more generic in theme so you can use them for anything! That makes the packets cover a lot of bases!
The design comes from our Make It from Your Heart How-to Book Volume 4. I started with Pattern 2 and made some edits to fit my images. The Silver was worked in by using the Glitter Paper and also some embossing. It's hard to see but I used an Embossing Pen on the lantern, sprinkled on the powder and heat set it. It doesn't show up as well as I hoped but when the light catches it you can see it.
The images were colored in with our TriBlend Markers. Each marker has three shades of the same color in the barrel. This makes blending very easy!
- Make It from Your Heart, Volume 4, Pattern 2
- White Cards and Envelopes Value Pack
- Cardstock: White Daisy
- Exclusive Inks: Intense Black
- TriBlend Markers: Ice Blue, Dull Green, Fair Skin
- Embossing: Medium Embossing Pen, Silver Powder, Heat Tool
- Clear Shimmer Brush (Gnomes hat)
