Blissful Brackets ~ December Technique Hop

It's time for a Technique Hop! This month our Close To My Heart Makers are featuring our Bracket style Thin Cut Dies. How fun! We have a wonderful selection and you're going to see many great idea! The blog before mine is Cat Nowak's blog. Just click the link in each post to go to the next blog.

This small A sized stamp set can carry a big impact! First I got busy with my Distress Oxide inks to create a background for the flowers. Once finished I stamped the flowers in the spot I thought would look best. It was easy to stamp because I didn't even take them, off the carrier sheet! I liked the position and spacing of the stamps so I just left them on the sheet. I inked them up then placed the sheet onto the cardstock. Viola! Beautiful flowers and a blended background!

After that I placed the larger bracket on top of the flowers using a bit of Washi tape to hold it in place while I die cut it out. For the sentiment I die cut the smaller bracket then stamped the sentiment in the upper area so I could layer the two together. That finished layer is popped up with some foam tape.

The blue frame was also die cut. Finally, I glued some sequins around to finish it off!
