Our Design Team has a fun color challenge for you this week. Use Shades of Pink plus ONE other color of your choice. We're also giving you some FREE colors: Black, White, Neutrals and Metallics. Please make sure that Pink is your main color!
Make any paper craft you like then use the link on the Color My Heart Color Dare home page to join the challenge.
For my card I knew I wanted to use a white background with a soft pink.. The pink stands out really well on all that white. Because the pink is soft I kept my one color choice of green soft, too.
I used a die cut to make the flower and my Cricut to cut the leaves. The petals and leaves were pinched a bit to enhance the 3-D look.
To make the all white background a bit more interesting I created some white on white layers by die cutting a rectangle and a square. The square is popped up with thin foam tape. Since metallics are free I used some gold for to as an accent.
