Welcome to our Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge! Each Friday we give you a new two week challenge based on color. Make any paper craft you like! When you're ready use the link in our post on the home page to join the challenge. It's that easy!
We reference Close To My Heart colors but you can use any brand you have as long as you can make a very close match. Kind of close doesn't count.
This card was SO fun to make using our new die called Sunburst Background Thin Cut. For this challenge and using 4 of the blocks in the grid I thought it was a great match-up! I used paper from the Hillside Cottage pack to get the pretty changes in color and patterns.
I started with Black Glitter paper to create the sunburst grid. Then I cut the other papers (two at a time) to make the inserts. Because I only used 3 of each paper sheet I have extra pieces for other projects!
After glueing the grid to the card front I played around with the inserts to see what looked best then glued them down. I added a sticker over the circle of the grid using foam tape to pop it up. HINT: use and anti static pouch on the back of the sticker to remove the "sticky".
Once again I used the May Stamp of the Month: Flowers For You to add a sentiment. I think I've used that stamp set on just about everything I've created this month! It's only available in May so get yours now!
