Core Catalog New Product Blog Hop

 Welcome to our blog hop featuring products from the NEW Core 2021-22 catalog! This book if full of so many exciting things I can hardly stand it! In all my 25 years with Close To My Heart I think this catalog is my all time favorite!!!

I have two very ideas to show you today. They both involve Heat Embossing but in very different ways. 

The first card features our new Color of the Year: Wild Berry. Isn't this a gorgeous color?!! I love it! I paired it with Black then used Gold embossing powder for a very elegant look. 

The stamp set is our new Embroidered Card Front. Look at that beautiful image in Gold! Wow! I also used some circle thin cut dies for the inner circles. I love how the Black makes the Wild Berry POP!!!

I finished it off with some Wild Berry Sequins and a little Wild Berry Ribbon. 

Now for my next card the technique is called Split Negative. The fun part about this card is you get pieces to make two cards at once. 

For the embossing I used Sapphire PIGMENT Ink with Clear Powder and VersaMark Ink with White Powder.  You basically make a white card and a blue card then cut the cardstock in half. Next you piece the cardstock together using opposites like you see in the photo. What a fun look!
