I could wait to do this technique for the Rose Gold Challenge at Heart 2 Heart! I've been meaning to try this for a while and this challenge was the nudge I needed!
Using a Split Front Technique I first cut the Rose Gold paper to 4" x 5 1/4". The first diagonal cut starts 3/4" down from the top left and ends 3 3/4" down on the right side. The second diagonal cut again starts at 3/4" down from the top left and ends 2 1/2" from the bottom left corner. Once you have that cut the rest is easy!
Now the really fun part of this card is the middle piece. I colored the negative space between the flowers/leaves with a marker. It really makes the Rose Gold details shine!
The sentiment was popped up on foam tape and accented with a piece of shimmer trim. A final touch was to add some sequins.
