Add Dazzle with Embossing Techniques
One of the most dazzling embellishment techniques you can incorporate into your creations is heat embossing! This technique only takes a few minutes to achieve, but the end result is breathtaking. Today, we’re going to show you a few ways to use heat embossing in your artwork, and then take it a step farther by adding color to the interior of your embossed images!

If you’re not familiar with heat embossing, this technique starts with stamping an image with sticky or viscous ink, like a VersaMark™ ink pad. You then sprinkle the stamped area with embossing powder, tap off the excess powder, and then pass a special heat tool over the image, allowing the embossing powder to melt into the ink. This leaves you with a metallic, acrylic, or UV-coated finishover your stamped image, depending on what type of embossing powder you use.
