Embossed Floral Card ~ Color Dare # 487

For my project I decided to do a card and kept it very simple in design and color. I Embossed my image (Gold Powder, VersaMark Pad, Heat Tool) then painted only the leaves with touches of green watercolor paint.  I also splattered some of the paint on the card front. The gold was continued by using Gold Foil paper. The sentiment was stamped in black ink.

Here is a close-up of the flowers and splattered. I also added three Gold Glitter Gems as an accent. 

The inside of the card was kept simple, too. Just a sentiment and some flowers stamped in Black and Clover inks.

The Thoughtful Florals stamp set is a unique set. It's a set of 10 images. The floral image at the bottom is actually ONE stamp making it a great choice for Slimline cards and layouts. For my card I only wanted the part of the image on the right. All I had to do was carefully snip the acrylic stamp apart to make two stamps. I can use it as one larger image by just putting them on the block and matching up the cut. Very cool!
