Welcome to a new color challenge from our Design Team at Color My Heart Color Dare. Each Friday we share a new color challenge giving you a select group of colors to create with. This week is a Tic Tac Toe grid. Pick your colors by row, column or diagonal. Then if you want to use some of the other colors in the grid go for it. Do Not add any extra colors to your project. See the graphic below for the "fine print" about colors that are free to use with the Tic Tac Toe colors.
We reference Close To My Heart colors but you can use any brand you have as long as you can make a very close match. Kind of close doesn't count. When you're ready to join the challenge use the link in the post on our home page.
I was inspired by this card when I saw it online. I don't know who created the one I saw so if you recognize it contact me so I can give you credit.
This is a very quick and easy card to make and creates an impressive look. I chose my colors with the left column: Scarlet, Flamingo & Glacier. I also used Seabrook, Honey Butter and Gold. The image and sentiment are in Black Ink and Cardstock we kept simple with just Black and White Daisy.
There is Thin Foam Tape popping up the floral and sentiment layers. Love the touch of Gold Thread as an accent.

I thought you had swiped the ink across from the side - that's a cool look with the stamp! Great card :)

DeleteWow, beautiful, love the border design and swiped colors. I got this stamp and stencil set and haven't used it yet. I'll have to come back here and check it out for a future color challenge

DeleteLove that you used the background stamp in the different colors and then stamped the flower stamp and only used part of the image.
