Sweet Floral Card ~ Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #577

 Hello! Come and join us for a new sketch challenge at Atlantic Hearts! Each Monday a new sketch goes live. Wednesday our blog opens for you to link your project. Use the sketch as inspiration for your project. You can flip, flop, twist or turn the sketch as you like. We just need to be able to see it in your project. 

Once again I stayed pretty true to the sketch. I changed the shape of the focal layer and moved it more to center because of its size. The other details are in place and I love how it all turned out.  

I stamped in black on colored cardstock for the flowers to add color without a lot of actual coloring. I did take markers to add some shadow effects for dimension. 

For the sentiment I stamped in a matching tone ink. Then I took a journal pen and outlined only parts of the letters for a shadow effect. I like how it makes the letters stand out without being overly bold. 

Go check your stash for some fun papers to create this look! It will work for masculine looks, too! Get creative with it!
