Welcome to our sketch challenge! Our team at Atlantic Hearts brings a new sketch every Monday to get you started on a project. You can do what you like with the sketch as long as we can see the sketch in your project. The most important part is to have fun!
Our sketch goes live on Monday and our blog is open for entries on Wednesday. Each sketch challenge is open for one week.
First all, I love making Christmas cards in non-traditional colors. Here I'm using Crumb Cake and Cloud Cover with Gold and White. I started by random stamping snowflakes on the card front. What a pretty background it makes!
Using a label from the ephemera pack I embossed it with the plaid folder to give it some texture and detail. Die cut holly and berries added a nice touch with parts of the holly popped up a bit with foam. The word JOY was die cut in Gold and glued to the label at an angle. The final touches were to add ribbon and gems. Use Glue Dots to glue down the ribbon.
