Happy Monday! It's happy because we have a new sketch challenge from our Design Team at Atlantic Hearts. Every Monday there is a new sketch to inspire you. We have two teams and alternate weeks. I'm on Team B doing the odd number sketches. Our sketches are a lot of fun! You can do what you like with our sketch. We just need to be able to see the sketch in your project. so have fun with it!
This time I rotated the sketch to make a horizontal presentation. I also changed the oval into the long rectangle. The sentiment was moved to the bottom of the card. So again, you can make adjustments to the sketch like I did, but you can still see the sketch in my project.
Lucky me, I found some finished images in the stamp case when I opened it. They worked perfectly for what I had in mind. The DSP created a pretty background for the Foiled Label and kept up the pink theme.
The flowers are popped up on Stampin' Dimensional foam with a few extra leaves tucked under. Doing this adds dimension to the design. I added some gems and painted the flowers with Wink of Stella for a shimmery look.
On the inside of the card I went a little sassy with the sentiment for a bit of fun. I had another finished flower and added that to the corner. I like a bit of decoration on the inside of the card, too.
Here's the sketch for this week. It goes live on Monday and our blog opens for entries on Wednesday. We can't wait to see how you use our sketch!
