I decided to go with a Christmas snowflake theme for my project. I love Christmas card using non-traditional colors. I think this theme works well with that idea.

After stamping the snowflake I used the coordinating die to cut it out. I brought in the green by blending a shadow behind the snowflake. The snowflake is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals for a fun look.

I stamped the sentiment along the bottom....and smeared the ink a bit. *sigh. SO, I stamped it again on a separate piece of cardstock, inked the edges in green and glued it on top of the smeared spot. Now you'd never know the smear was there if I hadn't told you, but I like to share how I deal those mishaps to save a project.

I painted some Wink of Stella on the pink part of the snowflake but it doesn't photo well at all. It's there though! I added some glittery gems to add some sparkle, too.

The inside of the card was kept simple so there is room for a message and signing. I love adding a decoration to the inside of the card for a nice surprise.

Now it's your turn to create with our colors! Have fun!
