CAS Card ~ Color Dare #685

Happy New Year and welcome to a new year of crafting! For this Color Dare Challenge we're giving you 5 colors to choose from for your project. You must pick at least 3 of those colors to use. There are some free colors you can add, but be sure to use at least 3 of the colors shown in the graphic.

As I sat down to create my project I decided I was in a CAS style mood today. If you don't know, CAS = Clean and Simple. I chose a new stamp set that will be available Tuesday (Jan. 6th) and it fits the CAS style perfectly. 

I trimmed down a piece of white cardstock to 4.5 x 3.25" so there would be a nice border around it. With the white on white looks I edged it in the pink ink to give some dimension from the card front. 

The flower was stamped in the 3 colors I chose from the graphic. It's hard to see in the photo but I dry embossed some lines under the flower. This helps to ground the image so it doesn't look like it's floating.  few pearl gems brought in the yellow again. Each of my 3 colors was used two times.
