You know how those scraps keep accumulating? There is always a pile at my fingertips and it's exciting when I can use some of it up! Here is a design that will get rid of.....I mean use some of those scraps and make a big impact in the process!
This design was inspired by Alisatilsner.com and it's so fun and easy to do! Get out one of those 1" strips and cut it into 1" squares. This design uses 12 squares. Chose a coordinating cardstock color to create a shadow and cut and equal number of 1" squares.
Glue the squares together creating an offset for a shadow effect. Space the squares out on your card front and glue down. Add a sentiment that also has a shadow piece. I added a few gems and it was done!
Your pattern paper can be any design you like. Big pattern or small, it all works!
I did mention it's an easy design, right?!!
