Today I'm sharing two cards I made using our new Scenic Coast DSP with the Sunset Coast Dies. The DSP is incredibly beautiful and you'll be seeing a lot more of it in future posts!
I love sunsets and these designs do not disappoint! Rich colors are all over and there is part of the design that has a shimmer to it!

Card 1:
I chose the darker, moodier design for this card. The photo really doesn't do the colors justice. After trimming the DSP for the card front I die cut the lighthouse silhouette in black. It's trimmed down to a smaller size to let more color in around the edges. The Sunset Sparkle Sequins are perfectly matched in color to go with the DSP. I chose the orange sequins to bring that color to the bottom of the card and stand out against the ark blue.
CARD 2:
For this card I used the same DSP pack but chose a different color tone. The lighter colors of purple, blue and orange create a beautiful look with the silhouette. I used the same die cut but this time trimmed off the edges to end up with just the lighthouse and rocks.
Everyday Arches Dies creates a nice look to shape the scene. This layer is also popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. A strip of back card stock anchors the die cut layer to the card front so it doesn't look like it's floating in air. A few die cut seagulls and a few more sequins finished the look.
There you go. Two cards using the same DSP and Die cut images but in different ways for very different looks! It's another good example how changing colors can make a big difference and make your products more versatile.
I can't wait to create with the other designs in these products!
