This is an incredible deal! Stock up on supplies you want or need to replace and Get this die set while you can. When it's gone it's gone!

My set finally arrived and already I've had a lot of fun creating with it. This card was inspired by Terri Gaines. She shared the idea of the die cut on the front and inserting the full star shape in it. I loved the look and put my own spin on it to get the card below.

I love this plaid pattern of DSP in the All Wrapped Up paper pack. It's so festive and the touch of silver adds so much! the card stock is Secret Sea for the base and the die cut on the front. The die cut piece is embossed with the Softy Woven 3D Embossing Folder. This embedding folder is a MUST HAVE item! It creates a wonderful pattern that can be worked into any design. I've already used it a lot and you can bet it will be showing up a many future projects, too!

Before gluing down the die cut panel on the left, I added some ribbon by tucking the ends around to the back and taping it down. Then I tied a bow and placed it on the ribbon with a Glue Dot. It's a lot trick that makes it easier than trying to tie it directly to the card stock!

The star is die cut from a Silver Foil Sheet and popped up on Mini Dimensionals which are a tiny bit thinner than the regular Dimensionals. With all the silver, plaid and pretty ribbon I decided the front didn't need anything else. Just let your eyes roam over all the wonderful details already in place.

I saved the piece of scrap die cut from the front panel. It fits nicely ad a star peeking from the edge of the inside. Plus it made me feel good about using all the pieces. I nice sentiment stamped in Cherry Cobbler brings the red to the inside and makes a nicer contrast.

There you go? Are you sold on the Shining Stars Die Set? I have more to share so come back for more ideas with this fantastic deal!
