Happy Birthday Card ~ Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 691

 Are you ready for a fun sketch to get you started on your creative journey? Each Monday our team gives you a new sketch. You create any paper craft you like using our sketch. You can do whatever you like to the sketch: change shapes, rotate, flip....whatever. We just need to be able to see it in your project. have fun!

This time I rotated the sketch. I also altered the shapes a bit and moved the sentiment and added a couple details. It's ll ok because you can still recognize the sketch!

Using our new Rounded Rectangle Punch made it easy to get my shapes, both patterned and black for the shadow. I love a good quick and easy method! 

The white layer gives separation between the rectangles and card base. It also makes the rectangles pop! Inking the edges in black makes the white pop, too. 

The balloon was die cut and popped up on Dimensionals. As you can see, the edges were also inked for dimension. The withe highlight was painted in Wink of Stella for some sparkle. 

The sentiment layer is popped up and white embossed, keeping with the theme. A few germs and it was done!

Happy Birthday ~ Color Dare #713

Do you need to send a birthday card?  This one goes together fast and is a fun look. Switch out the colors to suit any person, male, female or child. 

Each Friday our Design team gives you a palette of colors to create any paper craft you like. For this challenge you need to use all 3 colors shown in our graphic below. Make sure your colors are a very close match. We also give you some Free colors to use if you like. See the graphic for more info. When you're ready to join our challenge use the link below the graphic.

The DSP is from our new Subtles Painted Pattern pack. It's full of the Subtles colors in a variety of dots and stripes. Full of fun and creativity!

The sentiment comes from the die set called Words & Wishes. There is a coordinating stamp set to go with it, too. I went with the bold look of black on the yellow from the color challenge to give it a pop!

The balloon is so cute in the small polka dot pattern. The white highlight is also painted in Wink of Stella for a touch of sparkle. The balloon is popped up on Dimensionals, too. A few germs and it was finished.
