October Technique Blog Hop--Handmade Hues

Hi there! It's time for our technique blog hop.
If you've arrived from
you're on the right track. Click the link at the end of this post to go on to the next blog in the hop!

This month we're featuring the technique on page 66 in the Annual Inspirations Book called Handmade Hues. This technique features our new ShinHan Twin Touch Markers. I LOVE these markers!!! The ink flows smoothly from the marker for easy coloring. There is a chisel tip and a writing tip and we have 24 colors plus the colorless blending pen. The colorless blending pen removes color as a means of blending.

On this card I've used a stamp set called Cuddly Salutations. It's one of our Hostess Rewards sets. As a hostess there is a special group of stamp sets you can select with your Rewards.
I've used the Mahogany and Clay markers to color in the cute little dog. You can see the shading that can be done with the markers. It give a more 3D look to your art. On the Hello bubble I just did a light wash of color with a blending pen.
