Color Dare #132 ~ Black, White with Whisper

HI! It's time for another color dare from Color My Heart!
Black, White and Whisper are the colors for this week. If you don't have the exact colors just use something close! Come join in the fun!

This week I decided to use one of our "M" size stamps. This card uses a small image but makes a bit impact, don't you think? Since I had my heat embossing supplies out from a previous project, I decided to emboss the flower heart. Our embossing powders really hold the details in intricate designs! After embossing I just popped the heart layer with 3D Foam and then layered on Whisper and Black. I didn't want just a plain card front so I got out my Scoreboard for some dry embossing! I love how the narrow embossed lines created a nice background to accent the heart! After that I added a few Black Epoxy Bubbles and it was finished! I'll add a sentiment later when I use the card.

All products are Close To My Heart:
-Blooming Heart
-Cardstock: Whisper, Black
-White Cards & Envelopes Value Pack (50ct)
-Heart Embossing: Versamark ink, White powder, Heat tool
-Dry Embossing: Scoreboard
-Black Epoxy Bubbles
-3 D Foam

Ok now it's your turn! Join the fun at Color My Heart! Go check out what the others on the Design Team have to inspire you then get busy creating! Details on how to share your artwork are in the sidebar on our home page. This color dare is open until Thursday at 9:00pm CST.

Have a creative day!
Michelle

  1. Michelle, I love the way you stamped that white heart bouquet against the black background. It's very dramatic and pretty!

    1. Thank you. It's actually white embossed so there is texture there, too.
