Bokeh Technique

I've seen so many examples of the Bokeh technique I felt it was past time for me to give it a try! It really is one of those techniques that looks harder than it really is.

First you create your background by sponging on your colors. Next you use a stencil with circles of various sized circles cut into it. You can do this with punches or a Cricut. Once your background is done, place the stencil on top and with a sponge rub on some White pigment ink using the various sized circles! There....that's it! But don't forget the pigment ink takes longer to dry. So be patient and let it dry overnight OR heat set it with your heat embossing tool! Once dry you can finish your card with stamping and embellishments!

The stamp set I used is our June Stamp of the Month: Ice Cream Dream. It has 7 adorable images and makes you hungry for an ice cream cone! It's only available until June 30, 2015! Did you catch that....ONLY AVAILABLE UNTIL JUNE 30, 2015! Thats how the Stamp of the Month works! So click here to order yours now! You can even get it for only $5 with a qualifying order (value $17.95).
