Color Dare #193

Are you ready for a new color dare? Well the Design Team at Color My Heart has a fun one for you this week! Here we go!

Canary, Champagne, Juniper, Slate, Whisper with White Daisy.
These are the colors in the Georgie paper pack.

I chose to make a card using a pattern from Make It from Your Heart Vol. 2. This is pattern number 29.  Using our How-To books makes stamping and scrapping SO EASY!

I wanted the image to stand out more and felt just inking it up and stamping would not make it pop enough. So I decided to use a technique called paper piecing. I stamped the image in Juniper and then again in Canary. I cut out the word birthday in Canary and adhered it on top of the Juniper image. That's all it took and now the image pops!

All products are Close To My Heart:
--Georgie paper pack
--Cardstock: Whisper, White Daisy
--Ink: Juniper, Canary
--Shimmer Trim: Aqua
I'd love to be your consultant.

Now it's time for you to get creative and join the fun! Click here to go to the Color My Heart home page where you will find details in the sidebar on how to join the fun! While you're there check out the ideas from the other Design Team members. By the way, if you don't have the exact colors for the dare, just use something close! This color dare will be open until Thursday at 9:00pm CDT.

Have a creative day!
Michelle
