Color Dare #222 ~ Metallics with Black and White or Colonial White

Friday bring a new Color My Heart color dare challenge. I love the color dare this week! It kept whispering to me to get out my embossing supplies and get to work!

We'd love to have you join us by creating something using these colors. If you don't have the exact colors you can substitute something close, but don't add any new colors. Details are in the sidebar of our home page telling you how to link your creation.

I thought the metallics would really be great popping off black cardstock. Using the Dec. Stamp of the Month: Thoughtful Flowers (available Dec. 1-31), I random stamped images and a sentiment in embossing ink, sprinkled with embossing powder and heat set. What looks like a grey layer of cardstock is actually silver foil tape.

I couldn't stop there! I used some of our other darker colors and created more cards! These cards are in Eggplant, Peacock and Sapphire.

All products are Close To My Heart:
--Stamp set: Thoughtful Flowers (only available Dec. 1-31)
--White Cards and Envelopes Value Pack
--Embossing: Versamark pad, gold powder silver powder, heat tool
--Foil Tape: gold, silver
--Cardstock: black, Eggplant, Peacock, Sapphire

Let's go shopping!
If you need a consultant I'd be happy to help.
If you'd like to BE a consultant I can help with that, too!

Now it's your turn to create something to share. We LOVE to see your artwork!

Happy Creating!
Michelle
