Hello and welcome to the September Joyful Stars Blog Hop. We have some really fun things to share with you this month so sit back and enjoy!
Since this is a hop all you have to do is click on the links in each post to go on to the next blog. If you've come from Marie Flayer's blog you're on the right track. This is an anything goes hop so the ideas will vary and show you different things to do with your craft supplies!
I think Fancy Fold style cards are fun and really have an impact. They can look challenging but in fact can also be simple to make! This is one of the simple to make Fancy Folds! I shared a card using this fancy fold earlier this month. Here is the same fold style with different papers and colors. Can you say WOW! Just changing the colors or papers can have a really big impact! Click here to see the other card.
It's kind of like making two cards and slipping them together. Here are the dimensions I used:
Base: 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" scored at 5 1/2"
small layer: 3" x 7 3/4" scored at 4"
Pattern paper for base: 2 3/4" x 4"
Pattern paper for front of small layer: 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"
Pattern paper for inside of small layer: 2 3/4" x 7 1/2"
After the cutting it's just a matter of stamping your images and putting the layers together. I told you this was an easy one!
Oh one other thing.... the heart was cut from white glitter paper and colored with one of our ShinHan markers to make it go with the colors of my card!
