Flamingo Fun ~ Color Dare #350

The Design Team at Color My Heart Color Dare is challenging you to use colors seen in the Inspirational Photo see below. Use any color you see in the photo plus any neutral colors you like. It doesn't get much easier than that!

You can make any paper craft you like and use any brand of inks, and products you like. Just make sure your colors are seen in the photo and don't add any brand new colors to the palette.

My card is inspired by a card made by Becca Whitham. I really like her work and couldn't wait to give it a try. I did make an adjustment or two but that's what crafting is about! Make it your own.

The flamingo is part of the Wild & Punny stamp set. It has an option of coordinating Thin Cut dies to go with it. I LOVE the Thin Cut dies! It makes crafting so easy!. Markers were used to color the images. The shadow under the flamingo was done using ink from the ink pad lid and a water brush. The ink is called Pewter and it does create a pink tone at times which is perfect for the flamingo. The oval and rectangle are also Thin Cut dies.
