Spruced Up Shadow Box ~ Color Dare #376

This was such a fun and satisfying project! I loved this stamp set as soon as I laid eyes on it and finally had a chance to create with it.  The Color My Heart Color Dare design team is challenging you with an Inspirational Photo. Even though the photo has birds you do not have to use birds in your creation. What you need to do is pick your colors based on the colors in the photo. You can also use Black and White but don't add any colors not in the photo. Make any paper craft you like!

I decided to make a little scene for a 5" x 7" shadow box. I started by stamping and coloring a bunch of birds, branches and pinecones. After using the coordinating Thin Cut dies I started laying the pieces on the background paper to create my scene. I glued some pieces directly to the paper and the rest were popped up with Thin 3D Foam Tape. A few pieces even have double the foam tape so they are popped up a bit more. That creates 3 levels and creates a wonderful depth to the scene. I also added a bit of shimmer to the birds and pinecones just for fun/ After getting the pieces just right and adhering them I put it in the shadow box frame and this is what it looks like....although the photo really doesn't do it justice.
