Welcome to a new Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge! Each Monday we present a new sketch to get you started on a craft project. It can be any kind of paper craft as long as you use the sketch in some way.
I decided to add to my Fall birthday card stash and so with the sketch and the Fall theme this card was born! The color on the pumpkin come from using Distress Oxide Inks and a Smooshing Technique. Just pat the pads directly on an All-Purpose Mat, spritz with water then lay your watercolor paper or cardstock on top of the pad. Add more color until you like the result! After it was dry I stamped the pumpkin image and use the coordinating Thin Cuts to cute them out.
The flowers were colored with our TriBlend Markers. You get 3 shades of one color in each marker. This makes blending very easy and pretty! Again, Thin Cut dies were used to cut out the flowers as were the frame for the outside edge of the card and the sentiment layer. The pumpkin and yellow flower were popped up with some thin foam tape to give some extra dimension.
