I needed a fun card for my little great niece. She had her first visit to the E.R. this past weekend and I wanted to mail her a fun package of things to make her smile. She's doing very well and there are no worries but it's hard when you live far away and can't hug them.
I'm also sharing this card with Heart 2 Heart Challenges: Add a Border and Double Trouble Challenge #77 Layer it on! I used 5 layers.
I decided a shaker card would be fun for her and imagine her walking around shaking her card. I went with a pink theme and it turned out cute enough for any toddler girl.
Making a shaker card is easy when you use our Thin Cuts and pair that with our Foam and Acetate kits. There are a variety of shapes to choose from, too! I stamped the heart sentiments then put the foam tape in place. Next came the confetti and acetate sheet. I finished it off with a heart cut from holographic paper.
