Our Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge for the next two weeks is our fabulously fun Tic Tac Toe Challenge! Pick your colors by row, column or diagonal. Then if you want to use some of the other colors in the gird go for it!
We reference Close To My Heart colors but you can use any brand you have as long as you can make a very close match. Kind of close doesn't count. Don't add any new colors to the mix. We're giving you some free colors to work with too: Black, White, Gold and Kraft.
Make any paper craft you like! When you're ready to join the challenge use the link at the end of the post on our home page.
This color palette is based on the colors in the paper for the Starts & Sparklers papers in our May/June mini catalog. I absolutely love this floral paper from the kit and knew I wanted not only to use it for this challenge but to make it the STAR!
My colors are from the top left to bottom right: Carolina, Toffee, Scarlet then I added Sapphire.
I saw a card made by Melissa Robinson and used that as my inspiration for my card. All my color choices come from the floral paper. It was simply a matter of layers accent the pretty paper. the for the sentiment layerI used a Zip Border from the top of the paper sheet, cut it in half and framed the sentiment.
Inside of card. It's always fun to add some details inside, too!
Layered Butterflies Thin Cut Dies
Stars & Sparklers Paper Pack
Cherry Blossoms Stamp Set
Used for the sentiments and inside the card.
