Welcome to our June blog hop featuring the Stamp of the Month: Outdoor Borders. The hop is easy to follow by clicking the link in each post to go to the next blog. The blog before mine belongs to Krista Hershberger.
For my project I decided to make a card and show you how you can adapt these border images to work in a different way. The more ways you can use your products the better, right!
I started with the background. I used 3 of our Gloss Sprays on white cardstock. I propped the cardstock at an angle so that the spray would run down the front. White that dried I worked the other elements of my card.
After using the window die cut I trimmed off one row of windows so I had 9 windows to work with. I cut windows in both White Daisy and Lagoon cardstock because I wanted the white pieces, too. The card front is covered with blue cardstock, then the sprayed layer and the window layer. The white squares were stamped with images from the stamp set. I simply cut apart the border stamps to get the individual images I wanted to use. I also stamped a sentiment banner for the bottom of the card. Some sequins finished the look I was going for.
