Embossed Slimline Card ~ Color Dare #473

 Welcome to our newest live challenge from the Design Team at Color My Heart Color Dare. Each Friday we go live with a new color challenge. We reference Close To My Heart colors but you can use any brand you have as long as you can make a very close match. Kind of close doesn't count. Make any paper craft you like. When you're ready to join the challenge use the link in the post on our home page.

For our Tic Tac Toe Challenge you pick your colors by row, column or diagonal. After that you can use other colors from the grid if you like. Please tell us which colors you use for your project.

For my project I used the left column of Wisteria, Mulberry and Rosemary. I then added Gold and Charcoal. 

I decided to use this beautiful Embossing Folder for my main image. As a main image it was the perfect size for a slimline card. I embossed White Daisy cardstock for the design. The center section was what I used adding only a small section at the top to complete the flower and leaf. That section was fussy cut to get the look I wanted.

I painted with Shimmer Brushes: Wisteria, Mulberry and Rosemary. Did you know we now have 32 colors of Shimmer Brushes? Well we do!!! You can get them individually or in bundles. Click here to see them. They are great for painting an image like I did here or just adding touches here and there to accent.

With the leftover sections of the embossed image I cut out more of the flowers and leaves and layered them on top of the full image to create some dimension. Goldenrod Stickles was used to accent the flowers.
