Tone on Tone Card ~ Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

Welcome to a new sketch challenge from the Design Team at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Each week we give you a new sketch to start you off. You can turn, flip, rotate, etc. We just need to be able to see the sketch in your project. Make any paper craft you like. Post to our blog when you're ready to join the fun!

I decided to go with some stenciling on my card and did a tone on tone look. The stenciling was done with a glossy transparent paste. I love how it is there but keeps things subtle.

The sentiment layer was cut from dies and popped up on foam tape. I used a TriBlend Marker  and Blending Marker to color the plant. At the end I did a shimmer wash with gold which is very hard to photo. This carries the gold throughout the design with the thread, gems and shimmer.
