It's Friday so we're hosting a new color challenge to inspire you with. Our Design Team at Color My Heart Color Dare hosts a new challenge every Friday so be sure to come back often.
The way it works is you pick from the colors we show in our grid. You can make any paper craft you like. We reference Close To My Heart colors but you can use any brand you have as long as you can make a very close match. Kind of close doesn't count. Don't add any extra colors not listed in the grid.
When you're ready to join the challenge use the link in the post on our home page. It's that easy! Have fun and we can't wait to see what you create!
I decided to work outside of my usual box and try something new. I'm still not sure about it. What do you think?
Using most of the colors I stamped the background. I used Rosemary cardstock for my base. Did you notice the direction to use one of the colors as the base? I also did a side fold just to be different.
I stamped the car in Intense Black Exclusive Inks because I was going to use markers and didn't want it to bleed. The TriBlend Marker colors are: Tan Shades, Earth Brown Blend, True Black, Blender.
Cardstock colors I used are: Rosemary, Cinnamon, White Daisy, Black.
I popped up the car with some Thin 3D Foam Tape and drew a line for the road with a White Gel Pen. For the corners I cut a 1" square on the diagonal to make triangles.
