Welcome to our Color Dare + Double Trouble Challenge. We're teaming up together to challenge you with a fun color combo and a 3-2-1 Recipe. It's an easy pairing and one I know you'll have fun with. Direct links to each challenge are below.
I used a new stamp set + thin cut dies for my card. I couldn't resist the cute llama and bear! This stamp set comes with layers upon layers of cake to make it even more fun! The cake below is only part of the layers! You'd need to make a slimline card when using them all or make a really tall cake on a layout. A layout will be my next project with this stamp set.
Starting with a card base from our White Cards & Envelopes Value Pack I got busy. The bottoms layers are Desert Rose Cardstock and a Sage pattern paper from our Mix-in Paper Pack (Jan-Mar). The stamping was done with Intense Black Exclusive Ink because it won't bleed when coloring. Other ink colors used are Sage and Desert Rose. For a change I decided to color the images with Shimmer Brushes. I used Peach, Desert Rose and Seabrook, Clear with touches of Gold, too. The sentiment was stamped in Desert Rose and washed with Gold Shimmer Brush then popped up on Thin Foam Tape. Some dots of Stickles in Golden Rod were scattered around the images.
